i'm trying follow these instructions. log in developer.paypal.com, www.sandbox.paypal.com business account developer.paypal.com's sandbox test accounts page. go merchant services, click "my saved buttons". domain changes www.paypal.com (is should be?). choose buy button, specify item name , price, , click create button. remove code protection, copy code, paste site. open page, click buy button, gets me www.paypal.com, specify personal account's credentials developer.paypal.com's sandbox test accounts page. click log in, says:
please check email address , password , try again please make sure have entered email address correctly. please re-enter paypal password. and yep, checked if can log in credentials www.sandbox.paypal.com. doing wrong?
most likely, it's because have account of country can't accept payments. such, can't put test button on site.
upd checked again, , works. see 2 possibilities here: 1) temporary paypal glitch, 2) created button under personal account.
