osx - html accept in mac ignores .tar.gz extension -

i need to have file selection accepts tar.gz.

so added accept=".tar.gz" , seemed work fine.

then teammate of mine complained doesn't work him. , indeed didn't..

the difference runs on mac , on ubuntu. both use chrome.

to resolve this, added .gz (just .gz) on accept attribute.

has seen this? there solution problem?
