i'm trying create interactive voice-tree art project. think of choose-you-own-adventure, on phone , voice commands. have fair amount of experience working construct 2 (game-making software), , can build branching, voice controlled interaction loadable through modern browser it. reasons relevant overall story, need players connect interaction through google voice number call.
i have gv number , have written autohotkey script auto-answer hangouts call, i'm stuck trying route audio caller in hangouts browser , audio response output of browser caller.
i know of extremely primitive way accomplish this, [which i've illustrated diagram:
unfortunately, rather cumbersome , suspect can achieve goal through virtualization or @ least sort of attenuation cables between 2 physical machines (i tried running generic aux cable between 2 laptops, couldn't speaker audio go microphone audio 1 other).
i've been experimenting on parallels running windows 8.1 virtual audio cable(no luck), jack(too robust), chevolume(too limited), , indievolume(too limited).
i suspect vac best bet, can't seem find way route firefox audio output microphone input directs chrome , vice versa. if try accomplishing through 1 virtual machine have use 2 different browsers voice-tree webpage , hangouts call since hangouts pushes audio through chrome (even stand-alone application).
is there way route microphone input , speaker output separately between 2 virtual machines? if not, still try , accomplish specific type of cables between 2 laptops running windows 7/8 have generic audio jacks?
